Everything else you might want to know before registering.

The tournament is capped at 20 teams across three divisions. Once spots are filled, registration closes regardless of the deadline date. First-come, first-served.

Three divisions, each with full round-robin play seeding into structured playoffs. Titles are awarded in every division.

Division A — Most competitive. Equivalent to BHE Divisions 1–3. For experienced, high-level players who play regularly at a competitive level.

Division B — Intermediate. Equivalent to BHE Divisions 4–7. Competitive but accessible — solid players who want structured, quality games.

Division C — Recreational. Equivalent to BHE Divisions 7–11. For players who want a great tournament experience without elite-level competition.

Certified officials and timekeepers for every game, full tournament operations, awards for division winners, and a minimum 4-game guarantee per team.
A $300 deposit is due at registration to secure your team's spot. The remaining $700 balance must be paid by July 1, 2026.
All team rosters must be submitted by July 18, 2026. Details on roster submission will be sent to registered team GMs.
The tournament is held at Servus Credit Union Place in St. Albert. Full details and directions will be provided to registered teams.
Yes — full 5v5 with certified officials every game. Not 3v3.
No. EBHC is an independently organized tournament with no affiliation with BHE or any existing Edmonton league.
Hard to say for certain — but if your team isn't playing at least BHE Div 11/12, Div C is likely going to be a tough experience. Arena ball hockey plays very differently than gym hockey. When in doubt, reach out before registering.
The Edmonton Ball Hockey Championship is organized by Shinny of Champions. Team registration is managed through SOC Tournaments using the HockeyShift platform.
