EBHC was created to fill a gap in Edmonton's adult ball hockey scene by building a dedicated city championship where the best teams compete for something that matters.
Championship titles awarded in every division. This is the only tournament in Edmonton built specifically to crown city champions in adult ball hockey.

Registration for 2027 is not open yet. When it is, spots go first-come, first-served and are capped, so the fastest way to hear is to follow along and email us to be added to the list.
Registration is managed by SOC Tournaments through HockeyShift.
Registration opens on an announced date on a first-come, first-served basis. A deposit locks in your team, the balance is due before the tournament, and final rosters are submitted to the organizers ahead of the weekend. E-Transfer payments go to payments@shinnyofchampions.com. Credit card payments include a 3.4% + $0.30 processing fee.

Teams play a full round robin, then are seeded into structured playoffs with a minimum 4-game guarantee. In 2026, the top four seeds played for the Pool B title and seeds five through eight played for the Pool C title.
Entry is capped and spots are first-come, first-served. Once spots are filled, registration closes regardless of the deadline date. In 2026 the cap was 20 teams.
The 2026 entry fee was $1,000 per team, with a $300 non-refundable deposit at registration and the balance due before the tournament. It included certified officials and timekeepers for every game, full tournament operations, championship awards, and a minimum 4-game guarantee. 2027 pricing will be confirmed with the announcement.
A deposit is due at registration to secure your team's spot. The remaining balance must be paid by the announced deadline, and final rosters are submitted to the organizers ahead of the weekend.
